1984 - KISS & Bon Jovi

17.10.1984 Stadthalle Offenbach, KISS
Support: Bon Jovi
There was a much needed break after a 45 minute gig from Jon Bon Jovi and band. They weren’t any good, I am afraid. Only during their hit "Runaway" did it feel right to sing along.

Finally – the lights went out and the following echoes back from the gigantic amplifier wall: "You wanted the best, you’ve got the best – the hardest band in the world: KISS".

The "Animalize" show is on! About 3000 Kiss fans have gathered here tonight and the show is not sold out but the fans cheer wildly.

Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Bruce Kulick and Eric Carr are musically burning down the hours during their 2 ½ hours set. Kiss, already 15 years in the business show that KISS is not old news, the leopard got some teeth.

From "Detroit Rock City" to "Heavens on fire" – Kiss and the fans are having a ball. Most of the fans are still to be seen in make up.
