1990 - Blasorchestra St. Pankratius & Die drei lustigen Moosacher

Winter 1990, Jahnhalle Offenbach – Bürgel: BLASORCHESTRA ST. PANKRATIUS
Support: Die drei lustigen Moosacher

Under the banner of Volksmusik the Orchestra St. Pankratius celebrates 10 years of existence and together with good friends of mine I am there to pay them a visit.

The program is hosted by a Radio DJ from the mighty Hessicher Rundfunk.

The sports hall in Bürgel was absolutely packed and food and drink was provided. Beer and typical German specialities such as “Rippchen mit Kraut” were be found there.

To celebrate the 10th anniversary in style the Orchestra had invited other Orchestras to join in and the sessions on stage were clean and neat and nice to look at and to listen to.

Highlight of the evening were the special guests: “Die drei lustigen Moosacher” (The three funny Moosachers) an analogue to “the three stooges” I suppose.

There folk songs and jokes were hilarious and the fun barometer reached unknown heights.

The DM 4500,- spent by the Orchestra St. Pankratius just to get them was well worth it.
